A space Odyssey
Numerous artists and musicians have lived in the Chelsea Hotel at some point. There are several plaques located at the entrance to the hotel detailing some of the more famous patrons.
This one is for Arthur C Clarke (Arthur C Clarke attended my 6th form college in England, which has the Arthur C Clarke library, after him.)
