This was in Kyoto. We met Ben, a friend of mine, who is from Germany. His Grandfather died in a camp. (you need to know the joke - he tells it)

Dad had a great night. So did Ben. We ended up being perplexed as to how to get into our Ryokan (but we figured it out)
